‘India’s Got Talent’ is going to be unlike any other talent hunt show
The producers of reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’, the Hindi adaptation of ‘America’s Got Talent’, are left in the lurch as neither Preity Zinta nor Aishwarya Rai have time to be part of the show.
Talent hunt reality shows are hugely popular with the Indian audience. And many stars have marked their small screen debut via these shows. Recently, Karisma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre added oomph to the small screen by being judges on such shows. Koena Mitra decided to be part of reality dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ to not only revive her sagging career but also improve her PR.
‘India’s Got Talent’ is going to be unlike any other talent hunt show. Here, like the American version, participants have to showcase their skills. It’s not only about singing and dancing, but stand-up comedy and various other talents will also be judged.
Now after Preity and Aishwarya’s no, the channel is on the lookout for a big star who can be the USP of the show.
Priyanka not to overstress herself
Priyanka, with her recent trip to the hospital for food poisoning and stomach infection, had been advised to go off alcohol. Not that she was too fond of it, but she did have a glass of wine or champagne with close friends like me.
But my birdie recently got the spicy khabar that Shahid has been too worried with his latest girl's health problem, and has asked Piggy Chops to abstain from drinking.
The birdie chirped, "Shahid had been advising Priyanka not to overstress herself. He has also asked her to take up yoga and meditation to keep herself fit and relaxed. However, since she had allotted dates for Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Rashee? there was no way she could back out."
He also informed that since Priyanka's parents are doctors, she had been following their advice on health, but of late she took heed of Shahid's request to practice yoga.
Shahrukh Khan film trouble again
Shah Rukh Khan's "Dulha Mil Gaya" produced by Viveck Vaswani is in trouble again. Apparently, Anil Ambani's BIG Pictures has given up on the rights of this film.
Trade sources reveal, "BIG Pictures had already invested a good amount in the making. Despite that, this withdrawal has come since the company is on a re-strategising spree in the times of recession. On the other hand, Viveck Vaswani hopes that once he is finally ready with the film, he will re-offer the film to BIG and if that doesn't happen, he may refund the money to them."
COO BIG Pictures, Sunir Kheterpal declined to comment on the issue but assured to update us with any further development.
The film also sees Fardeen Khan and Sushmita Sen with SRK in an extended special appearance.
As for the film's progress, sources claim, some of SRK's portions are yet to be shot. Though there was buzz that the film will hit the marquee on July 3, the ongoing producers versus multiplex owners tussle suggests it may be pushed further.
Is Sonam Kapoor dating with Abhay Deol?
Sonam was the first one to enter and the last one to leave at Abhay's birthday bash on Sunday (March 15) . According to a source, the bash was only for Abhay's non-filmi friends.
"As there was no one from Bollywood, the duo were completely relaxed and did not mind being spotted together," informs a source.
Also, Abhay was among one of the few personal guests invited by Sonam at the Delhi-6 premiere.
We also hear that their 'friendship' is ssoon turning professional as well. The duo would also sizzle in Anil Kapoor's production Ayesha, based on Jane Austen's novel Emma. Apparently, Sonam had recommended Abhay's name for the role of one of the leads in this three-hero project.
She has always liked Abhay's choice of movies. Ayesha might well be Abhay's first dig at a commercial movie."

And I like her father from the time we worked in Salaam-e-Ishq. She’s such a beautiful girl with a great body. As for Ranbir, he’s the complete scene stealer. His performance is so warm and endearing, you just want to hug him. It’s hard to believe this is his first film."

Farah again reunites husband with Shahrukh
Farah Khan has helped her husband Shirish Kunder and Shah Rukh over the sore feelings evlved after Shah Rukh turned down Shirish’s film Joker.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh has been a comedy by Shirish titled Tees Maar Khan.
Likewise, doubts are still in place as Shah Rukh has not yet accepted to work in Shirish’s new project and if Shah Rukh refuses this offer, then in most probable cases even Farah wouldn’t be able to help the two men out.

Katrina Kaif is enjoying a good phase in her career
Katrina Kaif is enjoying a good phase in her career and can afford to spend as much as she can. On herself of course.
But the actress just decided to spurge on the unit members of Rajkumar Santoshi's ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’.
The buzz is that while shooting at Film City, Kat distributed as much as Rs 5 lakh among the unit members which included the technicians and spot boys.
A source reveals, "After wrapping up the schedule, Katrina went into her vanity van and came out with bundles of notes and started distributing them among the unit members. She was in a happy mood and wanted to share her happiness with everyone."
Katrina has reportedly acted on her instincts and while handing the money also thanked everyone personally.
It’s being said that she was showing appreciation for the long hours, sometimes 16 hours at a stretch that the unit had put in and her way of saying thanks to as many as 300 people was calling them by their names and handing out the cash to each one personally.

Bollywood hot & sweet actress Genelia D'Souza has three fun movies lined up for the summer campaign alongside some of the leading hunks in Bollywood.
The first of these is cricketing caper "Hook Ya Crook" with John Abraham. The David Dhawan movie also stars Amrita Rao, Kay Kay Menon and Shreyas Talpade.
Second on the agenda is Harman Baweja's "It's My Life". Directed by Anees Bazmee, it's a remake of Genelia's Telugu superhit Bommarillu, a romantic melodrama that in the original starred Siddharth in Harman's role.
The third movie on Genelia's list that should firmly entrench her in the top echelon of Bollywood stars is Life Partner. Rumi Jaffrey's film also stars Fardeen Khan, Govinda and Prachi Desai.

Aishwarya Work With Vishal
Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Vishal Bhardwaj are finally getting together after many false starts . 
The project will go into production at the end of the year.
Says Aishwarya, “Vishal and I have wanted to work together ever since he was the music composer on a project that got shelved. We had promised one another that I’d start in his film whenever he turned director. ”
Right after his directorial debut in the children’s film Makdee Vishal had offered Aishwarya a film called Timbuctoo . That got shelved.
Laughs Aishwarya, “I was very impressed by Vishal’s work. But he insisted that we’ll work together only when he finds the absolutely right project. That has finally happened. Vishal has bounced the script off me. And we both feel this is the right project for us to come together.”
