Semi-Final 1 Paddy O'Connell and Sarah Cawood present coverage of the first semi-final from the Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway, with 17 countries competing for a place in Saturday's final. Among the favourites to watch out for tonight are exuberant Greek folk-rockers Giorgos Alkaios and Friends, Slovakian siren Kristina Pelakova, and the idiosyncratic electro-pop of Estonia's Malcolm Lincoln. Sarah learns how far some countries have gone to ensure success, and UK entrant Josh Dubovie offers his first take on the spectacle.
