Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan released the soundtrack of Raavan

Bollywood's actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan released the soundtrack of their forthcoming film 'Raavan' in Mumbai.

Directed by renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, real-life couple Abhishek and Aishwarya play the lead roles.

The launch was unique with songs and music from the film being performed by the actors.

The film's music director, Academy Award-winner A R Rahman sang a song whilst lyricist Gulzar read out lyrics written by him. The soundtrack has six songs.

Aishwarya was the compere for the evening in compliance with the director's wishes, she told reporters.
