Shamita Shetty wants a 'perfect man' in life

Actress Shamita Shetty, who has just opted out of TV reality show 'Bigg Boss', is elated about elder sister Shilpa marrying London-based businessman Raj Kundra Nov 22 and says she also wants a 'perfect man' like her brother-in-law to-be.

'Raj is just so absolutely wonderful. He is so calm, intelligent and good-looking. There could be no one better than him for Shilpa. He is just so perfect. I also want a man like him in my life,' Shamita told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

The 29-year-old actress was until now a part of the third season of TV channel Colors' reality show 'Bigg Boss' and came to know of Shilpa's engagement only a week back. She has now taken a voluntary exit from the show to be able to be with her sister for her last few days at home. The episode will be aired Saturday.

Shilpa Shetty again hit the headlines for a wrong reason

FIR has been lodged against Shilpa and her crew members for shooting inside the premises of Sakhigopal temple in Puri. The executive officer of the Gopinath Deb temple filed case against them for shooting illegally for a television serial Mahayatra with all equipments and violating the norms.

According to the complaint, in spite of repeated objection by the temple authority Shilpa and her crew including her guards entered the temple premises with shoes and cameras.

Their activity hurt the sentiments of the locals. While the police sources said that the crew seeks the permission of the temple authorities before shooting with their equipments.

The scene shows Shilpa walking up to the temple carrying a puja thali. The police added that the temple authorities were present there for the smooth running of the shooting from the afternoon.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj do plan to marry someday

Shilpa and Raj have admitted in the past that they do plan to marry someday, the wedding date was never revealed; not until now, that is.

The couple is presently in South Africa for the ongoing IPL tournament and is supporting the Rajasthan Royals team in which they have a stake. While their team hasn’t been off to a good start – losing the first match and getting just a point in the second rain-washed match – Shilpa and Raj have a reason to cheer.

Their respective mothers have reportedly been bonding quite well in Cape Town and have even been planning the couple’s marriage.


In fact, even though the wedding is still many months away, the lovebirds have already decided their nests. In Mumbai, the couple will stay at Shilpa’s Ruia Park bungalow. In London, Raj has bought a sprawling house at St. Georges Hill in Weybridge, where Raj’s parents will also be staying with the couple after their marriage.

Moreover, they have also planned rooms for children in the house.
