Aishwarya Rai recently had a second godh bharai conducted by her mother Vrinda Rai at a Bandra hotel in a traditional Mangalorean Bunt style.
As per reports, according to Mangalorean tradition, a mother hosts a godh bharai for her daughter, known as baike at her home. Vrinda Rai took special care of the entire event and kept it simple.
So from decoration to delicacies everything was typically South Indian. Though the event was a very private affair, apart from the Bachchans and the Rais.
Aishwarya’s favourite directors Mani Ratnam, Ashutosh Gowariker and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were also part of the event.
