Bipasha Basu born on January 7th, 1979 in New Delhi, India is a marvelous Bollywood actress and a celebrated supermodel. The dusky Bengali beauty, Bipasha Basu, was born in Delhi, grew up in Kolkata and now is based in Mumbai. She wanted to be a doctor since childhood. She compelled her to participate in the Famous Ford Supermodels Contest in 1996. She won the contest at 17 years of age and the rest is history. Bipasha went on to catwalk for all leading Indian designers.

Bipasha Basu, her debut movie "Ajnabee" in 2001. Her brilliant performance in the movie brought her the Filmfare Best Debut Award. She won Star's "Sabsey Favorite Nayi Heroine Award" and "Zee Cine Award" for her best performance in "Raaz" (2002). In "Jism" (2003) and won Bollywood Movie Award in the category of Best Villain. Her performance in "Corporate" (2006) was simply amazing and won her whopping five awards: "Bollywood Movie Award", "Anandalok Purashkar Award', "leading Anand Bazar Patrika Award", and a double award from "Global Indian Film Awards", all in the category of Best Actress.
